Data Collection

Tab Copilot collects no personal data. The extension operates entirely locally in your browser. No data is sent to any server, third party, or external service.

What the Extension Accesses

• Tab information (titles, URLs, favicons) — used solely to display your open tabs in the popup. This data never leaves your browser.
• Chrome Storage API — used to save your sorting preference and last-active timestamps locally. All data is stored in chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.sync (synced across your own Chrome devices).
• Sessions API — reserved for a future feature to access recently closed tabs. Currently unused.

No Network Requests

Tab Copilot makes zero network requests. It does not load external resources, contact analytics services, or communicate with any remote server.

Data Removal

Uninstalling the extension automatically removes all locally stored data. No residual data remains on your device or anywhere else.

Third-Party Access

We do not share, sell, or transmit any user data to third parties because we do not collect any.

我们不会向第三方共享、出售或传输任何用户数据——因为我们根本不收集任何数据。
